A beautiful wild garden in the heart of farnham connecting local people in nature

The beautiful award-winning wild garden at Space2Grow features a wildflower meadow, wildlife pond, veg patches, flower beds and magical wild areas perfect for exploring.

Potters Gate school has a unique and special relationship with space2grow, a beautiful community well-being garden in the centre of Farnham. The relationship supports the school's desire to develop nature connectivity for our pupils, increasing their well-being and ensuring that they understand the importance of looking after our world. Pupils are able to visit the garden throughout the year, for a range of activities, including outdoor learning lessons, developing their relationship with natural spaces and the community they live in. Pupils learn a range of things including where their food comes from, identification of invertebrates and flowers and discover the delights of pond dipping and free play.

Families and pupils that may need a little bit of extra support are invited to the free holiday clubs in the garden. Or pupils may be invited to the weekly Nurture club or Young Carers sessions. Families with pre-school children can also attend the Forest School sessions. These sessions are fully funded for families that need the support. Children learn about the world around them, grow in confidence and learn new skills. Parents benefit from the calming effects of time in nature and develop support networks and friendships.
