British Values at Potters Gate School

British Values are an important part of life in our school, helping children grow into respectful, responsible, and active members of the community. These values - democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance - support children in understanding right from wrong, appreciating different viewpoints and feeling confident to share their own ideas.

By learning about British Values, pupils develop a strong sense of fairness, learn how to make positive choices and show kindness and respect to all. Embedding these values throughout school life helps create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and prepared for life in modern Britain.
