Academic Year 2026-27

Forces In Science This term, we have been learning about Forces in science. For our focus on friction, the children carried out a simple but engaging investigation, using toy cars moving along a variety of surfaces. They considered the effects of friction on the movement of the cars. (October 2026)

International Day The children learned about a variety of countries, discovering new landscapes, languages, traditions and folklore, and of course, took part in a Lego tower building competition, linked to one of Denmark's most famous of exports! The children worked effectively in teams and came up with some wonderfully inventive solutions and had a little fun along the way! (October 2026)

Science During our further investigations into Forces, for our Science lessons this half term, the children halve been investigating the effects of using gears. They have learned and explored how using gears may help turn a small force into a greater one. (October 2026)
