Home Learning
All Year 6 children have been provided with a homework diary to log upcoming events and homework deadlines in. This is to help prepare them for secondary school. Every Monday and Friday, we have diary time in class and the children must bring their diaries in for this time.
Home learning goes home on a Friday and needs to come back into school by the following Wednesday.
Home learning includes:
- A Maths activity linked to the week’s learning in class
- Thirty minutes of Times Tables Rockstars
- An English activity linked to the topic in class
- Spelling activities linked to the national curriculum spellings
- Reading (and record on Boom Reader)
