Religious Education 

At Potters Gate and our partner school, St Andrew's, we aim to foster our children's spiritual development through an enriching and immersive RE curriculum that enables our pupils to see diversity of beliefs while recognising that we are all part of one global family.

• Reflection time is an integral part of our school, we deliver this through whole school worships, class thoughtful time and through celebration of key Christian festivals, with the support of St. Andrew's Church.
• We aim to give pupils engaging opportunities to develop their knowledge and understanding of different religions and beliefs, whilst providing them with time spent in nature to encourage a sense of awe and wonder and an appreciation of the wonders of the world. 
• We aim to support our children with their own personal and spiritual development through a dedicated spirited arts day where children are able to express their own responses and reflections to 'big questions' about the world around them through art, music and movement.
• We aim to serve our local community and the parish of St. Andrew's church. We are proud of the opportunities we provide, such as collecting for the local food bank, raising money for charities and the unique opportunity to visit 'Space to Grow'.
